Art in the Park

Fiddlers perform at Art in the Park
Fiddlers perform at Art in the Park

Fisherboy Park hosts its Art in the Park celebration annually, on the first Sunday in July. For 2009, it will take place on Sunday, July 5th.

Art in the Park showcases the work of local and regional artisans in a festive atmosphere that includes musical entertainment which varies from year to year.

Pack your own picnic, or purchase food from the charity-operated booth, and you'll be all set to enjoy a garden luncheon while you're here.

The Great Outdoors Have Never Been So Near!

Sayward offers outdoor enthusiasts a wide variety of year-round activities, including whale watching, salmon fishing, bear watching, hiking and skiing.

If you're up to the challenge, consider joining us on Saturday, June 20, 2009, for the 6th Annual Kusam Klimb, an endurance race that takes you to the top of Mt. H'Kusam's steep incline and then back down again. You'll wind your way through beautiful old growth forest until you reach the peak, where the breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding snow-capped mountains will be your reward. Catch your breath, take it all in, and then make your way back down the mountain to the finish line!
